Started 6 games at quarterback at Ringgold HS (4A) earning a varsity letter and finishing as an All-Conference runner-up, before transferring midyear to Pittsburgh Central Catholic.

2024 I SOPHMORE
Played at Central Catholic (6A) under head coach Ryan Lehmeier … started on JV-A, leading the Vikings to a 9-0 record, passing for more than 2500 yards with 27 touchdowns over a 73% completion rating. Lettered as backup varsity quarterback taking half the offensive snaps … member of conference and WPIAL championship teams and state runner-up… PrepRedZone rated PA’s class of 2027 number 20 quarterback and number 5 WPIAL quarterback.

2025 I JUNIOR

Pro-style quarterback. PrepRedzone describes Will "as a classic pocket quarterback. He knows exactly where he wants to throw the ball and gets rid of the ball quickly. Toprani also has excellent footwork in the pocket, he does a good job of getting in his drops, setting his feet, and throwing the ball well."
